Isn't it so weird?

I'd almost weaned myself off RD when the forums went back up--well, sorta. I did a drive-by and had this enormous urge to kick back and comment. I'm not sure that I like some of the features. It reminds me a lot of the Nano boards with all the friends stuff.

Maybe that's why I'm so uncomfortable on MySpace. In a lot of ways I'm very Asian--must be the way I grew up. Hawaii is a totally separate culture (or it used to be). Sort of like Puerto Rico.

It feels funny to see who's checking me out, who added me and hell--even my last posts. Some of them dating back to last February--which shows you how often I start a new thread...

LOL! See, and I can't find ANY of that stuff. And I don't care.
I just want the damn link button to work. (pouts)
I missed RD something awful.

You have RD back? I'm still getting error messages.

This morning it went back down. I'm getting error messages up the wazoo. It worked for a short time. :( Er...long enough for me to figure out my control panel, re-set my avatar and check out who checked me out.

There is a way to turn off the 'who's checked you out' feature (I plan to as soon as we're back up...it is sort of frightening.) The other one I hate is seeing how many people who've read a post without replying to it. It makes me wonder...which is a very dangerous thing...

And myspace kind of creeps me out. It always makes me think of That Cartoon that came out (or perhaps it was an urban legend)...which sent kids into convulsive seizures when they watched it.

MySpace is just weird. Most of them have a look that just doesn't appeal to me and the layout confuses me.

Jodi...I didn't do the whole "friend" thing either. I think there are about 20 people who might get mad at me for it too, lol. I just didn't see the purpose. I know who my friends are. It seemed like a high school clique-y type thing.

And myspace. I don't understand myspace. I don't see how my daughter can spend so much time on there...there is nothing to see besides awful wallpaper and flashing lights. eep.

But I sure missed RD
