The workshop is over *sad*

And I'm a too tired to sound anywhere near intelligent. Like Andi, all I want is a soft landing.

I discovered a lot of things during the workshop, even if I was supposed to be teaching it. I wondered about different ways to approach old thoughts and got lots of fabulous questions. I also made a firm commitment to figure out YouTube. I have this video I want to make on the algebraic tendencies of organic plot, which I didn't go into because I didn't want anyone (yes, MG--I know your eyes glazed over) to fall asleep.

And just how labor intensive it gets to be.

I've had six hours in the last five days. Sleep is rushing over me like a tidal wave.

Yeah and it was a great workshop!

I think you need to make it longer.

I hope you're still sleeping. It sure seems true that we learn as much as the class when we teach. Congrats on making the grade. :o)

lol, slk--I think it might have benefited from another day. Mostly because I figured out Jennifer's Tom and Riley question a day too late.

Luckily I have her email, and I'll just send it. I'd rather we finish her thoughts to the end, rather than she feel like something is still hanging. :)

But longer? Nah, then it'd just turn into one of those workshops with assignments and a couple of desultory essays. This way it's tight and gets the points across fast enough to stick (hopefully.

Thank you for finding me. :)

ahh, Deanna. Thank you for your faith. I think finding one of God's gifts and using it has got to be one of the best experiences out there. Even though I was tired (and didn't wake up until two this afternoon, luckily it was my day off) I said thanks every night. :)

My eyes did not glaze over from your algebra. It was the mojito. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-D

The workshop was awesome - and I really appreciate your "hanging in there" with me. I know I dumped a lot on your plate there.

But I love your conclusions!!!

Wow, thanks Yvette and Jennifer. :)

MG, the fact that you had a gallon of mojito had nothing to do with it, I'm sure. :)

Just wait till I see you again in Nashville. I'll get you one of those Jasmine sized magaritas (two of them!) and tell you about solving for random variables.

Well, looks like you connected with several folks! I see some new posters here. And just that you're willing to follow-up with a question you didn't get to touch on enough during the workshop says lots about who you are.

I'll take one of the mojitos, please.

lol, Unhingey.

I live for questions, since I'm usually too tired to think of them.

Never too tired to answer them, although--sometimes too tired to write it out. (I runneth on at the fingers)

I need to post those structure pictures. Hell--I'll just send them to you. *going off to do that now*

And go to bed, damnit. You need your sleep. :)

OK, NOW my eyes are glazing over. LOL What were we talking about again? I thought this was English. No math please. :-D

PS: Unhinged, I am normally a lurker. Cup and I go way back to her Ninja days, but usually I can't think of anything suitably brilliant-sounding to post - as you can likely tell, I still haven't ;-)
