Things to be thankful for

Hey--it's Thursday, and while I never really got into the whole Thursday Thirteen thing, it's Thanksgiving, and I've had a good day. I survived the invasion of the killer twenty pound turkey and lived to wash up. So--I'd like to give thanks.

Thank you, Kaige, Andi and Alice for bearing with me this year--I have the sneaking suspicion it's because I haven't met you in real-life yet, so didn't get a chance to chase you off. You're been good sports about my writing soapbox, pedantic muttering and maudlin self-pity. Maybe I wouldn't chase you off...

Deanna--if I had to have a lurker, I'd pick you. I enjoy talking to you and reading your blog. It's wabisabi for the mind, and I wish you well in your journey. God Bless.

Liana...what can I say? Thanks for being part of my life. One day, you, your husband and kid are going to have to visit.

Kimberly. You know I like you. I believe in you. Come to conference.

Jeanna? You are good for me and make me laugh, and I know I amuse you to no end, but every hot air balloon (that'd be me<<<) needs a sharp stick. When I get a little full of myself, you bring me to earth in a good way. :)

Jen? *sigh* wish it could have worked out. I'm not the easiest person to know.

Which brings me to you, Cowboy. I tell people I've got the personality of a rabid wolverine, but you're the only one who believes me. I'm always amazed you see me for what I am and don't run screaming.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Count on it. We'll be there. Thank you for being in my life, too.

What a nice thank you list. I enjoyed this more than TT this week.

Aw, crap, Jodi, it takes more than a strong personality to scare me off!

I'm glad to read you made it through the family functions. I know this is another tough year for you.

Big hugs,
Andi

Awww. Thanks. I'm home again and have regained control of my laptop from the kids.

You're good people, Jodi. Unfortunately, even good people have rough times, but that's when their karma comes back to support them when they need it most. *hugs*
