Kicking it hard

...my husband never kicks cans. He says it's because when he did his tours in Vietnam, people used to put stuff "in" the cans--y'know, in the expectation that some idiot would come along and right--kick the can.

I don't kick cans either. I do however--kick my desk. I once cracked a toenail kicking it so hard it slammed back against the wall. If I ever move it, I'm sure I'll have to pack myself off to Target for Dap and a putty knife.

But I did twelve pages last night--not as much as Kimberly (twenty-eight pages??!!), s'true--but I've finally come to the conclusion that AMP is good for you, and mixing AMP and chocolate makes for a writing binge like I haven't had since doing last round revisions. WOOOOO!!!! Caffeine and theobromine.

The breakfast of Champions.

--edits and the final galleys went in last week and I got the release date yesterday. March 21st. I'll send you a copy, lol.

...and I'm clicking along on DG, real fast--I need to win that dinner from Kimberly. I'll be broke by the time I get to the DC conference and NEED that salad.

Too bad you're not in the neighborhood, I'm trying to figure out what to do with the chocolate I sample, then feel too guilty to eat.
