My hands are fat or something...

My kids, who are incredibly supportive and wonderful, got me a new laptop for Christmas. It's beautiful. All wide-screen and spiffy, with every bell and whistle known to writer-kind. (in other words, it's got Office) But I think my fingers are fat, because for some reason I can't type or maybe my wrists have wattles, I dunno.

I keep deleting things with the swipe of a sleeve. So far I know how to connect to my network, change my desktop and shut down. And they say it's more user-friendly.

Yeah, right.

Amen sistah. I got a laptop after hinting and begging for three years.
I don't use it as much.
I have a tough time with the keys and somehow I keep cutting and pasting by accident.
*rolls eyes*

...ah, then it's not just me. I thought I'd expanded by twenty pounds of comfort-guacmole...

I get a lot out of mine, but mostly because the kids come and drag me out of the office once they get home from school. The keys really ARE spaced closer together. Everytime I switch I have to start slow so my fingers can adjust.

I found the keys on my MacBook to be larger than the ones on my mac desktop keyboard. I absolutely HATE DH's laptop keyboard. I'm always deleting stuff on it or skipping up 3 paragraphs and inserting stuff without knowing how.

What sweet kids!

I can't use those things. Will stick to a beer coaster and keyboard thank you very much.
